Tornado - Bakken

"Just imagine a headline like this in a well-known tabloid: “Tornado over Bakken – Visitors swirled all around!” But don’t worry. As a coaster enthusiast you’ll react with a big smile on your face, when you know, that this storm is Intamins new Accelerator Spinning Coaster “Tornado”.

On a very compact footprint integrated in a rather tiny building, only two pieces of track, breaking through the façade, can be seen from the outside. Every few seconds, a small car with 4 seats each facing each other, rushes over the bright orange track.

The new attraction swirls just in the middle of the year-round fairground “Bakken” (Klampenbourg near Copenhagen, DK) next to the venerable wooden coaster “Rutschebanen”. Across from the Splashbattle attraction stretches a long colourful house façade, where the name of the attraction is written in huge letters.
